You might ask, "What does that have to do with the topic of this website"? I am glad you asked because it has much to-do with what Jehovah's Witnesses are taught by the WTB&TS in the publication...
Reasoning from the Scriptures, Ed. 1985, Page 15 "How You Might Respond"
This publication was a very secretive book that revealed to the individual WTB&TS member like my mother, like myself, what we might say to someone who was not a Jehovah's Witness when we might meet them at their door.
On page 137 of that publication shown below, the WTB&TS writers say: "If Someone Says - "My minister said that "Jehovah's Witnesses are the false prophets" You might say,... or you could say: "I'm sure you'll agree that specific evidence should backup such a serious charge. Did your minister mention any specific examples? (If householder refers to some claimed "predictions" that did not come to pass, use material on page134, 135 to the top of 137.)'
Here is an example of how it might work: Chistian/Chris and Jehovah's Witness/JW.
Knock.. Knock..Knock..:
Chris: Hi can I help you?
JW: Good morning, we are in your neighborhood today talking about the world conditions and wanted to share with you some good news from the Bible...do you have minute?
Chris: Great, yes I do but can I ask are you Jehovah's Witnesses?
JW: Yes we are thanks for asking.
Chris: Before we start, may I ask (DO NOT PAUSE), "my minister mentioned that Jehovah's Witnesses are false prophets" can you explain what he meant?
JW: You know we often hear that and we are sure that 'Specific Evidence' should back up such a serious charge. Did your minister mention any specific examples?
Chris: As a matter of fact, he did. He showed actual copies of Watchtower literature and some printed information on the topic directly off of the Watchtower's own website JW.org. CAN I SHOW IT TO YOU?
They probably won't want to look at it as they have been taught to "stay away from Apostate Literature... even though it is their own literature and from their own website - JW.org. See below.
