The Watchtower Society, Governing Body (GB) does not teach that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the one true God.  They teach that the father is Jehovah God Almighty; that the Son is Jesus who is "a god" the mighty god and that the Holy Spirit is nothing more than the father's "active force" that causes things to happen.  The Holy Ghost, Spirit, is not a person.   

Example:  plug a light into a wall socket and turn on the switch, you get light.

Christmas, Easter, New Years, Valentine's Day and Halloween (not mentioned), Mother's Day.  These celebrations it is stated all have some connection with ancient paganism.  If one were to seriously look into the paganism connection regarding celebrations and things used in pagan rituals, one would find that there are many things as true Christians we could stay away from.  For example, earrings; days of the week; the names of the month; wedding rings; hand shaking; candles are indeed closely associated with Paganism. And yet many Jehovah's Witnesses have no problem with lighting a candle or using cremation as a way of taking care of a loved one's deceased body.  Cremation is a recognized and meaningful practice in pagan traditions,

The Watchtower teaches that Jesus' physical body that was crucified, was not raised from the dead.  His body (Greek-soma) dissolved into gases or was preserved somewhere by God. 

Why?  They use the following as their proof texts.  Mary didn't recognize Him but thought He was the gardener. The disciples on the road to Emmaus, they didn't recognize Him. In Mark: 9:31, 32 Jesus had just explained to His disciples that "the Son of Man, He would be delivered up and killed and after three days He would rise BUT THEY DID NOT UNDERTAND WHAT HE MEANT AND WERE AFRAID TO ASK HIM ABOUT IT."

In Luke 24:13-30, two disciples on the road to Emmaus were talking about what just happened when Jesus came up and walked with them BUT THEY WERE KEPT FROM RECOGNYING HIM . ...THEN THEIR EYES WERE OPENED,"

Luke 24:22,23, Some of the women went to the tomb early this morning but didn't find His body. If a person saw the movie The Passion of The Christ, many Christians went to see that movie and there were very few dry eyes when the movie showed what Jesus went through physically prior to his crucifixion. I can only imagine that actual scene.  The Watchtower might wish to remember, the people who were there had just seen HIM BRUTALLY KILLED. HIS BODY WAS TORN. And three days later they see Him walking around?    That is why Mary went to the tomb, expecting to see Jesus' torn body and to anoint His body.    When she arrived at the tomb, the angel said, why do you seek the living among the dead?  He has risen just like he said he would...PRAISE GOD FOR THE EMPTY TOMB~ ​

Jesus said, in Luke 24:39, "SEE MY HANDS AND FEET, IT IS I MYSELF Touch me and see, A SPIRIT DOES NOT HAVE FLESH AND BONES AS YOU SEE THAT I HAVE."

Jesus' physical body was raised, but it was different, it was a "spiritual body" "Flesh and Bones, not Flesh and Blood.

In John 2:21 when Jesus said destroy THIS TEMPLE AND I WILL RAISE "IT" UP,.. John said HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE TEMPLE OF "HIS BODY" (Greek-SOMA)

Is Jesus the Archangel Michael?

Put simply, the answer is yes. The custom of being called by more than one name is common in many cultures. The same situation occurs with names in the Bible. For example, the patriarch Jacob is also named Israel. (Genesis 35:10).  So Michael the archangel is Jesus in his prehuman existence. After his resurrection and return to heaven, Jesus resumed his service as Michael, the chief angel, “to the glory of God the Father.”​—Philippians 2:11.

Then what was the hope of those pre-Christian servants of Jehovah? It was a hope to live on the earth under the rule of the heavenly kingdom. So the term “born again” does not apply to any of the early men of faith, nor does it apply today to the “great crowd” of other sheep, whose hope is to be preserved alive through the coming war of Armageddon to enjoy life on this earth forever. The only ones who are “born again” are the 144,000, together with their Head, Christ Jesus, who make up the Kingdom. Now only a remnant of the spirit-begotten “little flock” of 144,000 are yet on earth.

The watchtower says on page 199, "What beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?  They then go on to enumerate what makes them different basically from all other religions e.g.,

6. The earth

7. Death

8. Last days

9. Separate from the world

10. Apply Bible counsel ​

11. Then Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one

BEWARE OF ANTICHRIST’S ACTIVITIES TODAY

What about today? People and organizations making up the antichrist still oppose Christ and his teachings. They deliberately spread lies and deceptions with the intent of confusing the identity of the Father, Jehovah God, and of His Son, Jesus Christ. We have good reason to beware of such religious deceptions. Let us look at two examples.

For centuries, the churches propagated the doctrine of the Trinity, claiming that the Father and the Son are part of the same entity. The antichrist thus shrouds in mystery the identity of Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. This mystery hinders sincere people from imitating Jesus Christ and drawing close to God, as the Bible encourages them to.​—1 Corinthians 11:1; James 4:8.

The churches add to the confusion by promoting the use of Bible translations that omit God’s personal name, Jehovah, from the text. They do this despite the fact that the name Jehovah occurs some 7,000 times in the original text of the Bible. The result? The identity of the true God becomes even more shrouded in mystery.

On the other hand, knowing God’s name, Jehovah, has helped many honesthearted worshippers to draw closer to God.

Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985 ed, - pg. 356-361.  The Watchtower Society, Governing Body (GB) teaches that should a person survive the great day of Jehovah God, Armageddon which is coming soon; and then live through the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ and pass the final test at the end of the 1,000-year reign by showing their integrity, then and only then are they saved.

Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985 ed. - pg. 68-70.  And the Awake Magazine 1976 it says:, , In view of the pagan origin of many birthday customs and the fact that the only Scriptural accounts of birthday celebrations are in connection with false worshipers, neither the ancient Jews nor Christians early in the Common Era celebrated birthdays.

Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985 ed, -pg. 375-38. 

Definition: in the Bible "soul" is translated from the Hebrew "ne'phesh" and the Greek "psy-khe".  Bible usage shows the soul to be a person or an animal or the life that a person or an animal enjoys.  To many persons, however, "soul" means the immaterial or spirit part of a human being that survives the death of the physical body.  Others understand it to be the principle of life.  But these latter views are not Bible teaching.

Therefore, the Watchtower teaches the body is the physical part of you, you are a soul and the spirit is nothin more that your breath.

QUESTION:  For the Watchtower: if it is as they say, that there is no material spirit that exists outside the body at death, then what was going to be "ABSENT FROM PAUL'S BODY" What was it that was going to be PRESENT WITH THE LORD.  If the spirit is nothing more than the breath that we breath, what did Paul know about what it was that was going to be absent from the body?  What is the "THAT") which was going to be present with the Lord?

And Is hell a place of eternal suffering?

No. The original words translated as “hell” in some older Bible translations (Hebrew, “Sheol”; Greek, “Hades”) basically refer to “the Grave,” that is, the common grave of mankind. The Bible shows that people in “the Grave” are in a state of nonexistence.  The idea of eternal torment is repugnant to God. (Jeremiah 32:35) Such an idea is contrary to the Bible’s teaching that “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) He wants us to worship him out of love, not fear of eternal torment.—Matthew 22:36-38.

QUESTION: Matthew 25:41 says, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the ETERNAL FIRE PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS."  

Who was hell prepared for? Not for mankind, but as Revelation 20:15 says, "Anyone not written in the Book of Life was cast INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE."

If you are a Jehovah's Witness reading this, are you written in the Book of life, the Lamb's Book of Life?  If not, then it says that anyone not written in that Book.....wil be cast into the lake of fire which is where the DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS WILL BE.  And that dear reader WOULD BE HELL!

In fact, the main thought conveyed by the original Bible language, words translated “prophesy” or “prophecy” are basically to tell forth God’s mind on a matter or, as the book of Acts puts it, to tell “the magnificent things of God.” (Acts 2:11) It is in this sense that many people are being robbed by false prophets.  As in Jeremiah’s day, there exist today false prophets claiming to represent the God of the Bible but they too steal God’s words by preaching things that distract people from what God, through the Bible, really says.

July 2017 Watchtower Questions from Readers, "Christians want to be a good example to others. (2 Corinthians 4:2; 1 Peter 5:2, 3). It says,  "If a Christian has a gun to protect himself from other humans, the elders will give him counsel from the Bible. If he decides to keep the gun, he would not be a good example. As a result, he would not be able to have any responsibilities or special privileges in the congregation. The same applies to a Christian who continues to carry a gun as part of his secular work. It would be much better if he tried to find another job." ​— See actual article   

Read Romans 13, which says the authorities are God's Appointed Ministers who carry a sword (Glock) to be used against the Bad Guys.  King David carried a slingshot and a few stones which killed Goliath and that was considered a "Justifiable Killing".  In 1 Samuel 18:7, King David killed his ten thousand.. and the Lord was with him.

So, Cain killed Able and the Bible does not mention what the instrument was that Cain used. Could have been a rock, a stick... who knows.  It is not the rock, the stick, the club, the sword, the bow, the sling shot, the spear, the baseball bat, the handgun or whatever, the fact is someone died.  Was the weapon used as an Offensive or Defensive weapon?

​Remember Romans 13, the authorities are God's Appointed Servants to carry the sword to defend us against the evil doers. and as Paul says, that's one of the reasons we pay TAXES!  But the Watchtower tells them, if they have to carry a handgun, they need to seek other employment!

Observers not partaking

The Lord Jesus Christ revealed that, at his second presence, there would be persons who would do good to his spiritual brothers, visiting them in time of need, and giving them assistance. (Matt. 25:31-46) Would these, who might attend the celebration of the Lord’s Evening Meal, qualify as partakers of the emblems? The Scriptures say that God will provide through his holy spirit evidence and assurance to those qualified to partake of the emblems as “heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ,”  ...the Memorial of Jesus’ death was observed once each year by the early Christians, and Jehovah’s Witnesses follow that Bible-based pattern.  When Jehovah’s Witnesses observe the Lord’s Evening Meal, only a small fraction of us partake of the bread and wine.
